This is the big sister of C. damasonium. The panicle has more white blossoms, sometimes twenty or more. They open wider and attract bees and other insects.
C. longifolia needs less lime than the other species, but more moisture.
This species has the weakest mycorrhiza of the three Cephalanthera species, but it can't be transplanted anyway.
But if you have a shady place near some trees or bushes, you can try to grow this species from seeds. Have patience, it will take three years or more before you see the first green leaves.
