DACTYLORHIZA OCHROLEUCA
G: Strohblasses Knabenkraut

Usually referred to as a subspecies of Dactylorhiza incarnata, this tall orchid presents blossoms in a pale yellow.

It can be found in the same biotopes like D. incarnata, but it is much more rare.

The systematic position of this orchid is controversial, perhaps it is an own species, perhaps it is simply an albino form of D. incarnata.

Nevertheless, it's a beautiful and unusual orchid which can be cultivated like D. incarnata, but it is a little more sensitive.
